Everyone in the tuning game must remember these words: less is often more. You see, the days of wacky body kits and exaggerated proportions are long gone, and the best way to bring out the shine within any ride is to keep it simple and classy.
More often than not, all a machine needs is a new set of wheels. The offer is vast and comprises countless options, from classic to modern, in various paint finishes and, sometimes, center-locking options for a racier vibe.

One could also sprinkle some lowering springs to their car, tint the windows (and lighting units if it is a dark-finished vehicle), and perhaps round things off with a custom yet simple wrap. After all, we all dig cars with satin looks that feature new wheels and dark windows, don't we?

But what is the deal with the Ferrari pictured above? Well, it is a 488 GTB with only a few modifications that looks absolutely stunning. The Italian supercar enjoys its online fame courtesy of Novitec, which shared a few images of it over the weekend.

According to the renowned tuner, this Ferrari 488 rides on their NF10 alloys. These have a V-spoke design, a black look, and Novitec center caps and were wrapped in sticky rubber band tires to fit under the arches even with the lowered suspension, which is part of the modifications.

Elsewhere, the supercar, which will soon be a modern classic given that production of this model ended in 2019 and Ferrari replaced it with the F8 that was discontinued a few years later, has a gorgeous red finish that looks OEM to us. It also sports a few black elements and yellow brake calipers for more contrast.

The interior is only partially visible in the pictures shared on social media, yet due to the angles, we can't tell you if it was re-upholstered or not. Nevertheless, we will go with the latter option, given that the amount of work that went into its exterior is minimal yet effective, and we reckon the owner did not want to mess around with a winning recipe. So, congrats for that!

As for the engine, it is a 3.9-liter V8 with turbocharging that drives the rear wheels through a dual-clutch transmission with seven forward gears. The official spec sheet reminds us that the 488 GTB puts 661 hp (670 ps/492 kW) and 561 pound-foot (760 Nm) of torque under the driver's right foot. The peak output is available at 8,000 rpm, and the peak thrust is at 3,000 rpm. This supercar needs just three seconds flat to accelerate to 62 mph (100 kph) from a standstill and will keep going up to 205 mph (330 kph).
