The London Summer Olympics were a success, especially for BMW who had a car in every shot. Skoda has learned from the Bavarians and is preparing for the Winter Olympics in 2014 with a special edition of the Yeti, which pays tribute to the Russian city that will host the event -Sochi.
The special edition wears a coat of candy white, lots of “Sochi 2014” branding and a few touches for the interior as well.

But it’s the powertrain that impresses us the most: 18 TSI with 152 PS, AWD and a 6-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission. Pricing has yet to be announced, but pricing has not yet been announced.

"Russia is a pillar of our international growth plans and has a central importance for our 2018 growth strategy," says Skoda CEO Prof. Dr. h.c. Winfried Vahland. "This country is one of the world's strongest-growing market and offers tremendous potential for ŠKODA. We intend to resolutely continue our dynamic development of recent years. We will have more capacity in the future so as to further raise our sales in Russia.”
