Skoda Yeti Does 4x4 Donuts

The Skoda Yeti is one of the least fun-looking vehicles we’ve ever seen. It’s boxy and comes with engines producing between 100 and 170 horsepower. It was designed for families with and has a bulletproof reputation.
But it seems the Czech engineers managed to squeeze in some fun into the 4x4. Just take a look at what these guys are doing in a Yeti 1.8 TSI with 160 horsepower and all-wheel drive.

The suspension on the car is set up just like on a regular sedan – front suspension is McPherson strut, with wishbones and the rear is a multi-link rear axle. The AWD system is very front biased in normal conditions, but if the car slips the Haldex clutch can divert up to 90% of the torque to the rear axle, which is what we see here.
