The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG is seen by many as one of the most insane cars tuned by AMG. The only stock G-Class that has even a larger dose of “crazy” is the G65, which has a twin-turbocharged V12 so it's obviously a loonier off-roader.
So, if you don't want a huge lump of V12 under that flat hood but still desire something extra in the power department of your G63 AMG, the only way is the aftermarket tuner way.

In the land of the free, one of the tuners who can transform a crazy G63 into a full-blown demented 4x4 is Hennessey.

Although they're not known for being a Mercedes-Benz specialist, such as Renntech, just to give a well-known US-bound example, the peeps at Hennessey tune all kinds of car brands, including tri-star wearer.

So it happens that they have a power kit for the M157 twin-turbo V8, which ups the output of the G63 AMG in the following dyno video from 544 hp and 760 Nm (56 lb ft) of torque to a massive 710 hp and 1085 Nm (800 lb ft) of tire-shredding torque. Want to see how that torque delivered to all four wheels looks like on a dyno? Then check out the following video.
