SEAT will have a large exhibition stand in Reifnitz on the south bank of the Wörthersee. The focus will be, of course, the Spanish brand’s sporty cars. The highlights include an Ibiza ST with an extensive package of accessories and a brand new Ibiza ST with the wide black “face” of the Ibiza Bocanegra.
Like the hatchback, changes to the Bocanegra ST over the standard model are expected to be mainly cosmetic. Styling modifications will include black headlight surrounds, a black central grille and black surrounds. The SEAT Ibiza Bocanegra ST will also sport body-coloured bumpers, black door mirror housings, a dark tinted glass sunroof, and Bocanegra badging on the rear hatch. On the inside there should be a three-spoke flat-bottomed steering wheel, aluminium-finished pedals, sports seats and decals.
Another highlight of the SEAT Worthersee stand will be the racing Leon Supercopa, which is also expected to create a buzz among the thousands of car fans. The SEAT stand also has its own VIP terrace reserved for members of Club SEAT. Club members should also save the evening for cool drinks and hot music on board the SEAT Party Boat. Anybody interested can register on the Internet for this customer club and its many promotional offers. Registrations will also be accepted in person at the event.
In advance of the festivities, SEAT had already begun to search for the 2010 Cupra Star – The Club SEAT members applied acceding to the SEAT Club and sending photos of themselves and their cars. The nine finalists were selected via a voting system and invited to Reifnitz for presentation to the public on the SEAT Catwalk. The winner will receive a SEAT for three months at no cost.
