The weather is becoming increasingly suitable for longer bike hauls, and I bet there are a lot of guys who have been counting as the minutes passed until they could go camping outdoor once more. Aside the weather warming up, one more nifty surprise arrives from Sea to Summit: the all-new Spark SpI sleeping bag, a must-have item for the touring motorcyclist.
So where’s the thrill, you’ll soon be asking. Well, it’s the dimensions and the size of this sleeping bag which make it a most worthy touring accessory. Like you can observe in the pic after the jump, the Spark SpI can fit in your palm when compressed for transport. And this in turn, means the sleeping bags will only occupy a very small volume in your cases, while bringing you all the comfort and shielding from the cold when out in the wild.

These sleeping bags are also extremely light, with the large version weighing in at 590gr (20.8 oz), while the compressed dimensions are almost funny: 4.3 x 5.1 in (11x 13 cm). They are filled with 850+ loft Ultra-Dry Down (90/10 European goose down) and come in a 10D shell with 15D lining. The Sea to Summit Spark SpI comes with a temperature rating of 23C/ 54F for comfort and an 8C (46F) lower limit, but in case of need, it can also be used as a booster bag (sack in a sack).

However, such features come with a price, and the Sea to Summit Spark SpI is anything but cheap: it will run you $319 (€231) in either regular or large size. Via motorbiker
