Moose Racing unveils their newest line of aluminium cases, the Expedition full system, including the boxes, mounting racks and accessories.
The Moose Racing Expedition side cases come in three different sizes, so flexibility is not a problem. They are available in 34-, 40- and 46-liter versions and will suit almost any type of bike you’d be riding in your next continent-crossing adventure. Matching top cases are also provided in two versions: a short one providing 25 liters of storage, and the tall case which expands the luggage capacity of your machine with 38 liters.
All the Moose Racing Expedition cases are manufactured from 1.5mm-thick 6061 heat-treated aluminium. Heat treatment is used to remove stress and improve durability in tough conditions. The lids can be removed completely and come with stainless steel hinges, and the optional tumbler-style key inserts can accommodate a variety of locks, as well as padlocks.
As far as color is concerned, Moose Racing kept the Expedition on the traditional side: they are available in either silver or black powder coated versions. While each case comes with a lid organizer, Moose Racing offers optional packing cubes, handles, lock sets, replacement O-rings and more. Plus, the special slots in the corner reinforcements of the cases allow riders to strap even more gear to the boxes.
The side case and top case mounts are made from sturdy steel tubes, with a cross-strut between the lateral hoops for more stability and strength, and are delivered with all the necessary mounting hardware, in bike-specific kits.
