Welcome to the boxy cars mashup, where our beloved 2013 Scion xB meets its main rivals from over the pond.
In the other four corners of our imaginary pentagon ring, we have the tradition-ditcher Fiat 500L, its bigger German brother Mini the Countryman, the Kia Soul ‘hamstercar’ and the freak Nissan Cube with its misplaced windows and furry pockets.
From our point of view, the Mini and the Fiat should be instantly disqualified from being irresponsible with steroid use and turning from Mickey Mouse and Mr. Bean’s lovely runabouts into wannabe cage fighters running with the circus, leaving the two characters with tears in their eyes.
The Kia Soul may be a worthy opponent for the honest and minimalist Scion xB because it comes with a bit of originality (and because we like rap hamsters), while the Nissan Cube should be killed with stones by the public because it is a freak.
