Nathan Craig from ExoticCarLvr22 has released this video showing the brand new Scion sports coupe, the FR-S at the Cars and Coffee meet in Irvine, California. The cool thing is that it’s standing right next to its famous predecessor, the Toyota Corolla GT from 1986, after which the Toyota version of the Toyobaru is named.
We have to say that for a $25,000 or under coup, it’s stating to look pretty cool. It’s even got a set of faded blue chrome exhaust tips round the back. This is probably an aftermarket component fitted by tuners GReddy.
The FR-S, just like its brothers from Toyota and Subaru, is powered by a 200 hp 2.0-liter boxer engine with 151 lb-ft of torque, which is mated to either a six-speed manual short-shifter or a six-speed automatic.
