Rolls Royce 102EX Electric Concept Spotted in California

It’s amazing what you film if you have a camera in hand and are in the right place at the right time. Our friend, photographer Nathan Craig just posted this short flick on his Youtube channel of a brand new Rolls Royce 102EX Electric Concept, which was spotted recently in California of all places.
It might be that the British manufacturer is testing to see if the car will overheat due to the effects of heat and humidity on 102EX’s battery and management systems. The electric Phantom’s North American stint is part of a global tour. In November and December, it will hit large US cities like New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Miami.

We’ll remind you that the 102EX is powered by two electric motors and a single-speed transmission (combined to create 389 hp and 590 lb-ft / 800 Nm of torque). It reaches 0-60 mph in less than 8 seconds and has a top speed of 99 mph (159 km/h).

The electric luxury automobile came with its own escort, consisting of a regular Phantom.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
