Scion, one of the latest names to go into automotive business in North America, is celebrating its first ten years on the market with a limited special edition version for each model it sells.
Thus, the FR-S, tC, iQ, xB and xD will be offered with an exclusive "Scion 10 Series" package that comes with unique features such as a premium Silver Ignition paint, solar-powered illuminated shift knob, LED locator badge that light up when the car is unlocked and sequentially numbered interior badges for each vehicle.
In addition, the xB, iD and iQ models will feature unique allows wheels in a graphite finish, while the FR-S gains HID headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lamps, dual automatic climate controls and a smart key with push-button start ignition.
"The Scion 10 Series celebrates 10 years of the brand's passionate approach, iconic products and success inviting a new, younger buyer to the Toyota family," Doug Murtha, vice president of Scion Division said. "Scion heads into its second decade revved up by a strong product line that continues to stand out on the road."
The unique "Scion 10 Series" models will number a total of 10,000 examples and will hit dealerships in June 2013.
