Saturday Night Street Racing Texan Style

Drag racing was born long before the days of Need for Speed or the Fast and the Furious. Sure, it’s an activity that is frowned upon if done on a public road, but you can’t stop people from enjoying their petrol fumes.
It all starts when you buy a fast car with a big engine that’s got street credentials, something like a Pontiac G8. Then you realize that everybody on the scene is faster than you and you start stripping the interior our, adding racing cams, going for the biggest supercharger you can find... the works.

Obviously, street racing is illegal, so HighTechCorvette who recorded this late Saturday night fun won’t tell us where it took place. But from the looks of it, this is somewhere in the Huston, Texas, area.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
