The Michael Fink-designed first generation of the Mercedes-Benz CLS (C219) was arguably the most beautiful and probably the least expected model in the Mercedes-Benz range back then.
An entire decade passed since the model practically invented the luxury four-door coupe niche and the market is much more crowded now, while the CLS is already at its second generation.
With the spectacular-looking Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe (C217) unveiled and capturing fan hearts for a few days now, its arrival made some people think about how a four-door, CLS/CLA-like version of the new model might look like.
We found the following image on the CarSpyShots forum, and it seems it was rendered by a photoshop artist signing by the name of ashiakas.
While the rendering is of low quality as far as its resolution goes, we think that the image editing results are close to a masterpiece, as the car looks drop dead gorgeous to us. Now, if only Mercedes-Benz would go ahead and create such a version apart from next year's convertible...
