Russian Pedestrian Is Right to Be Angry

Crossing the road in Russia seems to end up being more of an adventure than you may like, and when your safety and bodily integrity are put at risk, all you can do is make your opinion heard. Well, not necessarily heard, but you can prove your point in many different ways.
This Russian pedestrian adopts the ‘standing man’ posture, and blocks the path of a driver who was on the verge of running him over, on the crosswalk. The man in question is angered by the lack of awareness shown by the driver, and points to the crosswalk sign on the other side of the road, while still refusing to get out of the way.

It is good to see that some people are taking action against bad drivers, and those who think they are smarter than everybody else, and try to cheat their way through the oncoming lane, or even sidewalks.

Thankfully, this particular conflict did not turn violent, even though there was a very high likelihood of that happening in the given situation. The pedestrian uses his phone, but it is unclear whether he is calling the police, or some extra muscle to back him up, in case things to take a turn for the gruesome.
