After featuring in tens of 2014 Dodge Durango commercials and the company’s brand new “touching” game, fictional anchorman Ron Burgundy admits that the SUV is a terrible car. As you might have already guesses, the intriguing statement Ron Burgundy pulled last week is also part of Dodge’s popular advertising campaign for the 2014 Durango.
It all happened during Conan O’Brien’s late-night talk show on TBS, when the fictional character played by Will Ferrell was informed that Dodge Durango sales rose 59 percent in October. “Pretty amazing! And what’s so amazing about it is it’s a terrible car,” he replied.

In case you missed the latest Ron Burgundy ads for the 2014 Dodge Durango, you can watch a few of them here and here. As a reminder, the 2014 Dodge Durango is already available in US dealerships starting from $29,795.
