Well, a Suzuki Hayabusa is clearly not the most common bike one expects to see rolling out of Roland Sands' workshop. Nevertheless, from time to time, a Busa owner does come knocking at RSD's door looking to change the attire of his bike.
Now, the very cool thing is that Roland Sands has all the needed creativity and resources to add a magic touch to such bikes, even though Hayabusas are not exactly his specialty.

The bike received a Vance and Hines exhaust to boost the power of the modded engine, now breathing in through a Race Series K&N air filter. This Busa's power plant also received tuning, with ported heads and hotter cams, bringing the power to 240 HP.

In order to allow its owner to laya heavy hand on the throttle, a Track Dynamics stretched swingarm came in place of the OEM one. Suspensions came from Ohlins and Performance Machine sourced race-weight wheels.

The RSD Hayabusa also get an MV Agusta tail light, a Hotbodies Dual Radius GP screen and Bitchin Seat Co.-made special seat to match the rear cowl. Airtrix' Chris Wood came with a simple yet exquisite graphics idea. All in all, the perfect proof that RSD is about si much more than Harleys...
