Even though some people claimed that Road&Track will soon be declared bankrupt along with Volvo and Mitsubishi in the US, it seems like the guys are doing a pretty good job.
We never thought they would go extinct from the US anyway, even if they were talking only about the printed edition. Of course, at some point all publications will probably go extinct, since most will transfer their business online, but that's a different subject.
They continue to do a great job even now, and today we stumbled upon one of their ad-hoc tops. The most recent one ranked all the BMW 3 Series models ever built judging by a variety of factors.
Of course, every Bimmerhead knows that there were only 6 generations of 3 Series ever made, but the guys from Road&Track decided that the M3s would fit in this top too and so, we ended up with a top comprised of 7 positions.
Amongst the winners you'll find the first 3er ever made, the E21, in 323i guise, the E36 M3 comes up 6th, the E90 335i is ranked 5th outpaced by the E30 325i and the E46 M3, whilst the E90 and E30 M3s shared the top spots.
