Ride 4 Haiti to Benefit Hollywood Unites For Haiti

Bikers from around the world continue to make efforts in helping Haitians victims, struck last month by a disastrous earthquake. The Ride 4 Haiti: Los Angeles event, put together by Scorpion Customs and Jimmy Jean-Louis, a Haitian actor famous for his role in NBC's hit series 'Heroes', will benefit Hollywood Unites For Haiti charity.

"Hollywood Unites For Haiti is proud to be the beneficiary of the Ride 4 Haiti: LA Rally," says Jimmy Jean-Louis, Founder of HUFH, and Pan American Development Foundation's Goodwill Ambassador for Haiti's Children.

"Only a month after the quake, Haiti continues to suffer and is a long way from recovering," Jimmy Jean-Louis explains, "This fundraising event will provide vital support for immediate relief, recovery and reconstruction into hard to access areas of Haiti."

Glendale Harley Davidson will be the venue to kick off Ride 4 Haiti's red carpet Celebration. Participating bikers will enjoy a a 20 to 30 mile ride through San Gabriel Valley to Bert's Mega Mall in Covina, CA, where the festivities will continue with a Custom Bike Show and Family Expo, as well as a Motorcycle Stunt Show, among others.

Moreover, a custom "Haiti-Themed" Suzuki motorcycle valued up to $40,000 donated by Bert's Mega Mall and customized by Scorpion Customs will be the grand prize offered in the event’s raffle. Organizers say Ride 4 Haiti is an all-weather event, and it will be held, rain or shine, on February 27.

In anticipation of the riders coming out to not only enjoy the event but also support the recovering Haiti, Jean-Louis says, "I thank you in advance for your continued support for my country."
