Richa has announced a new line up of protective apparel that will feature Gore-Tex for the first time, including four jackets and two pairs of pants. All of them will be available in stores starting November.
The top shelf products of the new Richa lineup are the Atlantic jacket and pants. They feature both a Gore-Tex membrane and a PTFE coating with an additional membrane for the air vents.
Abrasion resistance aramid-reinforced fabric is laid out on exposed areas while more protection is provided by D3O armor at the shoulders and elbows. A level 1 back protector is included, and they come in black or gray. The jacket is priced at £599 ($728/€666) while the pants come at £399 ($485/€444).
Next, comes the Cyclone jacket and pants, which use a three-layer system with a fixed Gore-Tex liner for all-year usage. The D3O armor comes standard for all zones (shoulders, elbows, knees, and hips) as well as a level 1 CE-certified back protector.
Three colors are available along with a 360-degree zip to attach the jacket to the pants. Prices are set at £399 for the jacket as well as £299 ($364/€333) for the pants.
Third in the range is the Madison jacket, which was designed for the urban rider. It comes with a three-layer system with fixed Gore-Tex lining, D3O armor for the shoulders and elbows, as well as the CE-certified level 1 back protector. It coms in black, green or navy at a price of £399 ($485/€444).
Last but not least, there’s the Atacama jacket which uses the same construction as the other ones. There’s also a detachable thermal inner jacket which can be worn independently, while the air vents have magnetic openings for ease of use. It is available in black, fluoro yellow and sand with a price tag of £499 ($607/€555).
