RevoZport Golf Razor R Released

The Golf R has managed to claim one of the top spots in the hot hatch hierarchy, with the car being one of those vehicles that has pushed the limits of its segment.

The car packs a 2.0 liter TSI turbocharged petrol engine that delivers 271 hp at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) between 2,500 and 5,000 rpm. The power is sent to the road via a revised Haldex 4motion all wheel drive system that gives the car an advantage over front-wheel drive members of the “go-fast” hatch community. The car, which can be considered an evolution of one of the vehicles that invented the hot hatch segment (the 1st generation of the Golf GTI), reaches 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.7 seconds and offers a top speed of 155 mph (249 km/h).

However, VW’s tradition didn’t allow the automotive producer to offer too much exterior muscle to the vehicle. Now, the RevoZport tuning company comes to change that.

But don’t worry, the aftermarket specialist have kept the car’s lines sleek, without adding extra-bold details. The car has been renamed “Golf Razor R” and now uses a complete exterior package that enhances its sporty looks. The kit can be yours for a price of $3,586.

The Golf Razor R is now available for order, with the full list of modifications including the following items:

• Razor R Bonnet (made in Carbon Kevlar) and dry vacuum infusion: $731
• Razor R Carbon Front Grill: $450
• Razor R Carbon Front Add-on Splitter: $650
• Razor R Carbon Side Skirt: $538
• Razor R Rear Bumper: $450
• Razor R Carbon Rear Diffuser: $500
• Razor R Carbon Roof Spoiler: $474
• Razor R Carbon Mirror Cover: $490
