Now that the cat's out of the bag, we know everything about the new Coupe from BMW, the 2 Series. The new model is part of a completely fresh family that will also include a Convertible model and, possibly, a Gran Coupe (a sort of sedan mean to compete with the likes of the A3 sedan).
Until BMW decides to let us know exactly how the Convertible model will look like, rendering specialists have gone to work, trying to create exact replicas of the car, ahead of its time.
Theophilus Chin always amazed us with his exact renderings and precise design and he's also amongst the first people to create a 2 Series Convertible. His creation follows the BMW design cues closely and looks almost perfect.
Based on the car its replacing, we're guessing the Cabrio 2er will use a soft top instead of a hard top, leaving the latter to the 4 Series Convertible. As for the engines, they will most likely be the same as on the Coupe with performance numbers varying by a few milliseconds.
