Renault Twingo Gordini RS Interior Photos

Renault unveiled the Twingo Gordini RS last week and rolled out a beautiful image gallery showing the first model that brings back to life the famous Gordini nameplate. However, no picture showing the interior was available, despite the many official details giving us a glimpse into the way it looks like.

The Twingo Gordini RS will go on sale in European markets in March 2010 but it will be displayed until January 10, 2010, at the L'Atelier Renault on Champs-Elysées.

The car will be, similar to the entire Gordini range, painted in blue with two white racing stripes. Additionally, the front and rear bumpers are painted in gloss black, while the foglamp surrounds, exterior mirror housings and lip spoiler are finished in white. Blue or black diamond-effect 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels are also available.

Power will come from a 1.6-liter engine that will develop a maximum output of 133 horsepower and 160 Nm of torque.

It is customized with several options, including a Cup chassis, blue diamond-effect 17-inch alloy wheels, radio-CD Box with hands-free Bluetooth telephone kit, curtain airbags, panoramic opening sunroof, Gordini key fob and Gordini carpet mats.

"Twingo Gordini R.S. is expected to win over customers looking for a sporty car with refined, distinctive styling. The newcomer combines the very best that the Twingo line-up has to offer with an indisputable French touch," Renault said in a statement when it rolled out the new Twingo.

Pricing is not available at this time but Renault said that it will open order books in France on February 15, 2010 so more information is expected at that point.
