Renault Fluence Pricing and Equipment Lists Revealed

Renault unveiled the new Fluence at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September and the car is projected to go on sale in France in January 2010. However, consumers are able to place an order starting today, with prices for the entry model starting at 19,750 euro.

The range comes with a wide array of standard features even on the cheapest version, including ABS, emergency brake assist, six airbags, automatic dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control with speed limiter, automatic headlamp activation, and automatic windscreen-wiper wipe-speed and activation.

The car will be offered in two different trim levels, Expression and Privilege, priced at 19,750 euro and 23,800 euro, respectively.

The standard equipment on the Expression version includes ABS with EBD and EBA, six airbags, automatic headlamp activation, electronic immobilizer, automatic dual-zone climate control with cabin filter, key-activated central locking, automatic windscreen-wiper activation and automatic wipe-speed, foglamps, trip computer, cruise control and many other features.

The Privilege edition includes all the features offered on the Expression but also adds 16-inch Spirale alloy wheels, exterior temperature display, electric folding exterior mirrors, rear parking proximity sensor, ESC with ASR traction control and CSV understeer control, electrochrome interior rear view mirror and reach-adjustable steering wheel.

There are several options available to French buyers, including the Xenon Pack (bi-Xenon headlamps with headlamp washers) priced at 850 euro, metallic paint - 480 euro, Carminat TomTom navigation system - 490 euro, beige leather upholster with heated front seats - 1,200 euro, tire pressure monitoring system - 250 euro and electric opening sunroof - 490 euro.
