Remi Gaillard's Mafia Prank Sees Taxi Driver Running for His Life

We're talking about French farceur Remi Gaillard, who plays the role of a mobster in his latest stunt. This is one of his simplest productions and yet the clip is as effective as a bullet (check it out and you'll understand) when it comes to generating giggles.

We won't throw spoilers at you, but we'll just tell you this might be an excellent way of getting a taxi ride without having to pay at the end. And while we feel the need to throw in the usual "don't try this at home," we can't help but be amused by this video.

Sure, we have no proof that the whole stunt isn't staged, but we can rely on the comedian's reputation for delivering genuine pieces. After all, we are talking about a man who has a thing for stirring up the French police.

From dressing up as a speed camera and flashing a patrol car, to using his football skills to send a ball straight into the back of a police van, Remi isn't afraid to get up close and personal with the long arm of the law.

Many of his stunts would probably end up with a tasering episode, or perhaps worse, if they were to be performed in the US - however, Europe has its special treats and this seems to be one of them.

Remi's message accompanying this video? A simple one: "The problem with taxis is when they are on strike in the middle of a ride."
