The famous Russian dash cam videos that have taken over Youtube these days might subtly alter our perception of how life actually is in the world’s biggest country. Things might not be as bad as you imagine and this Mercedes-Benz Viano tuned by Redline Engineering is living proof of that matter.
While the standard car itself might be enough for most people in terms of comfort and space, the more pretentious of people out there will always want something different. Whether better or worse, it’s up to each of them to decide.

The peeps over at Redline Engineering took a stab at modifying one of these vans to offer more luxury and more comfort to its occupants. Therefore, the main focus was on the rear passenger compartment and not the front seats. It’s not that they’ve been completely forgotten but nothing extraordinary happened either. Come to think of it, the driver was actually shut off from the occupants.

Leaving that behind, we’ll mention the BMW F01 7 Series rear bench that was added to the mix, the tuner considering that the choice offered by Mercedes-Benz wasn’t comfortable enough. On top of that, they also added two rear facing individual seats that were anchored right behind the driver’s compartment, creating a perfect meeting room on wheels to be honest.

The best bit about these two seats is that they can be removed if you want more space. It might seem peculiar but the company explained this approach, blaming the customer for it:

"The task that was set by the client was both simple and complicated. It was required to organize the most comfortable place for two traveling passengers and organize the private zone where four people will be able to negotiate,” said Redline.

Other amenities include an intercom for chatting with the driver, high-speed internet via a Wi-Fi router and a custom climate control system for the rear seats. In case you’re interested, they will gladly cater to your needs.
