Everyone is using all sorts of metaphors to describe the most powerful and innovative BMWs of today but they all fail when you have to describe the only supercar they made. Yes, we’re talking about the M1.
While the original M1 was an impressive machine itself, a couple of limited editions were also made, proving that this ‘limited’ trend is not a new thing. Out of the bunch, the AHG version stands out the most.

Only 10 were ever made and all of them were different. Therefore, the one you’re looking at here is the only one of its kind, in the world. They were all manufactured over 2 years, in 1981 and 1982 and have a different spec sheet from the ‘normal’ model.

The 3.5-liter inline 6-cylinder engine was taken up to 350 HP from the stock 273 HP thanks to some TCL infused by the engineering team. Of course, other components were also changed, like the clutch, front and rear fenders, side skirts and height-adjustable suspension.

One such model came into the European Auto Source garage these days and it couldn’t’ve been overlooked. Therefore a quick photo gallery was put together to showcase the rarity of this thing

Unlike the one that we showed you a while back, put up for auction, this one is featuring the world famous M stripes in all their glory all over its body. Which one would you pick?
