The topic of tuned BMWs is always a controversial one. When you get a Bimmer, you’re pretty tempted to have it customized, but on many of the occasions when the thing arrives already tuned, some of the mods give you a bad feeling. They may simply not suit the car in your view or they could give you the idea that the tuning is a testament of the harsh throttle treatment the vehicle has received.
Well, all this debate climbs to a whole new level if we are to talk about the BMW M1. The rarity of the thing means people don’t quite dare to install aftermarket parts. Perhaps this is for the best and yet we still can’t help but wonder what routes would lie ahead of some serious tech-focused customization.
