It seems like Forgiato Wheels is by far the company rappers nowaday prefer when it comes to their luxury rides. One of the celebrities to be the first to get custom built luxury forged wheels on a 5th generation Chevrolet Camaro is Lil Boosie.
Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the 31-year old artist is one of those tough gangster types that actually served time. In fact, he was released this March after serving in the Louisiana State Penitentiary from 2009. He was sentenced to eight years after pleading guilty to drug charges. But when you think he was born and raised on W. Garfield St., a renowned drug infested and violent neighborhood in South Side Baton Rouge, it all starts to make sense.
2009 was also the year when he got his Camaro all custom made over at Forgiato Wheels Miami-based auto shop. They’ve recently posted an image of him next to the car taken right after it was pimped. It’s kind of awkward they waited years to upload the picture.
Anyhow, the production of the Canadian-manufactured muscle car made by General Motors in fact started on March 16, 2009, after several years on hiatus since the previous generation’s production ended. Do we like it? Yes, we do.
It’s a powerful car made available as a coupe in five different trim levels, the LS, 1LT, 2LT, 1SS and 2SS, varying from a 3,6-litter engine producing 312 hp to a 6.2-litter producing 426hp. So whatever version Lil Boosie has, we’re pretty sure that he’s going to enjoy his freedom as an proud Forgiato wheels Camaro owner.
