The Range Rover Sport SVR is arguably the Land Rover with the most curb appeal ever to be made. It's designed to go fast and still be comfortable, capable and refined. The epitome of British SUVs deserves to walk with a strut, we think.
That's why Canadian customizers SR Auto Group decided the first thing the first-ever SVR needed new shoes, the kind you usually see on supercars.
They chose the set of forged three piece twenty-four inch PUR LX10′s. Leaving plenty of space open, they allow people to gaze at the Brembo performance brakes, wondering what kind of monster would need such stopping power.
Playing with select tones, the wheels were finished with a matte black diamond face and a gloss chestnut brown lip. The darker tones compliment the vivid blue exterior of the Range Rover Sport quite nicely.
The SVR is a revelation, proving that the British can build a rival for the BMW X5 M. It uses the most powerful 5-liter supercharged engine around to suck you closer to the horizon and brings upgraded suspension and brakes.
The Range Rover Sport is not a bad looking thing, but now it's a little more Electric Castle and less old castle. While the SVR cosmetic package is discrete, connoisseurs will be able to tell the difference. On paper, you only get 40 kilograms less weight and 40 extra horsepower compared to a regular RR. However, the secret is in the way it's calibrated to handle, not by-the-numbers analysis.
This quick preview will have to do until the day we get our greedy journalistic hands on one. For now, enjoy the sights of this blue SUV on PUR wheel. Kind of looks like the cookie monster, doesn't it?
