Range Rover Evoque Tuning by Startech

Here at autoevolution, we’re really big fans of the Range Rover Evoque, a compact SUV that looks like it has sacrificed only the door handles on its road from concept to production model. Besides a bigger engine, the only thing that we want to see done to it is adding even more luxury.

That’s where the latest project from Startech comes into play, a project that will officially bow at the 2011 Dubai International Motor Show. So what have they done to the five-door version besides chopping 35 out of the ride hight and adding the massive 21-inch two-tone wheels.

Well, on the outside, these a modified bumper, a brand new set of exhaust tips that were cut from stainless steel and some magic round the eyes. However, it inside where Startech did the most impressive job.

You have a new steering wheel, aluminum pedals, foot rest and shifter, to name but some of the features. A combination of black and white leather was used and the accents are made of real carbon fiber.

Under the bonnet of this Evoque is the 2.0-liter SI4 gasoline engine, but... no power upgrades have been made, so you only have 240 hp to play with. The good news is that Startech says the engine kit is almost ready.

Overall, this is one of the nicest interiors we’ve ever seen, but it’s probably going to cost you an arm and a leg over the already relatively high price of the car itself.
