Anybody willing to look at an X-Ray of the supercar and hypercar realm only needs to check out the colors found on these machines. These days, it's not enough to own a LaFerrari or a Mclaren P1. Oh no. If attention is part of your driving menu, you'll need to mind the hue of the car.
We've seen such a situation involving Ferrari's halo car, with the recent appearance of a Purple LaF drawing a wave of attention to the machine.

Well, it seems history repeats itself in the case of the LaFerrari's rear-wheel-drive rival, the McLaren P1.

We are now here to give you a purple incarnation of the P1, but this isn't one of those stories that involve an owner who keeps his pride and joy trapped in a garage.

Fortunately, this Woking halo car was spotted in the proximity of the Nurburgring last year. As it fortunately happens with most contemporary Mclarens, owners enjoy dipping into the velocity potential of these vehicles.

In this case, the P1 was involved in an event called the EuroAbia Rally, which saw this Arab-plate P1 putting its gas-electric powertrain to full use. To our eyes, the stickers linked to such an event can be associated with small battle scars that show a car has served its purpose.

For now, we're inviting you to check out the piece of footage below, which, as we said, shows the hyper-hybrid being driven on roads close to the infamous German track.

Speaking of McLaren P1 visual flavors, we'll remind you the British carmaker enjoys playing this game. For instance, the company recently allowed us to take a peek inside the home base of the p1 GTR racecar.

That was a brilliant opportunity for us to enjoy an array of unique P1 GTR livery choices, and those of you who missed it can check it out here.
