The Alfa Romeo 4C mid-engined sports car is on its way, and it will not only be sold in Europe, but also in the United States. A heavily-camouflaged example was recently spotted on a US highway, and judging by the photos we got courtesy of autoedizione.com, it looks virtually the same as the concept Alfa kept parading around the various motor shows and high-profile automotive venues.
The little 4C, powered by the same 1.8-liter engine as the Giulietta QV, which we thoroughly tested, can reportedly crack the 0-100 km/h or 0-62 mph sprint in around 4.5 seconds, thanks to the 230 hp on offer from the turbocharged unit. According to the Italian site, it is very likely that it is the same prototype which was spotted in Italy, earlier in 2012, and now it has been shipped to the US.

Thankfully, according to the official teaser, the 4C, which is expected to be a stunner, will definitely debut by the end of 2013.
