The 4 Series Gran Coupe is going to reach dealerships around the world this summer and we’re expecting good things to come from it. It’s going to be available with the M Sport package too and, for those looking for the real M experience, an M4 Gran Coupe will come later this year.
Even so, tuners will always be a part of BMW and BMW will always be a part of the tuning scene. That being said, the first renderings of alternative models have reached the internet and amongst them there’s the attempt done by the guys from Duke Dynamics in collaboration with Maris Design.

Their take on the matter makes the 5-door Gran Coupe wider and lower than expected, with a more than vicious look. Up front, the new face features massive air intakes at the sides with what basically looks like a reinterpretation of the M Sport look.

All air intakes now feature dark chrome trims, while the bonnet has huge vent right on the power dome that is most likely just for visual stimulation. The front bumper also received a new splitter made of carbon fibre just like the side skirts that are now sitting lower towards the ground.

We don’t have a clear look at the rear bumper at the moment, but expect a similarly ‘pumped’ look with a massive diffuser in the middle, housing the 4 tailpipes of the exhaust system.

This being a concept, the end-result might look a bit different but most of the big changes should stick, giving us a beautiful alternative to what BMW created.
