Preliminary Barcelona Testing Order Announced

The upcoming testing session at Barcelona will be the last one in which the current Formula One teams will get to test their 2010 challengers before the season opening Bahrain Grand Prix. The last test mileage on the off-season will see some teams bring some upgrades to their cars, as confirmed by Ferrari and Renault F1.

Ferrari have previously announced that they'll debut a new aerodynamic package for the Barcelona test, aiming to make the necessary adjustments ahead of the Sakhir race 3 weekends from now. Accordingly, Renault have also decided to proceed to some upgrades on their R30 for the upcoming 4 days of testing, as confirmed by Robert Kubica yesterday.

Nevertheless, several other teams are expected to bring some novelties to the table in Barcelona, as this Sunday will mark the last day of F1 testing in of the 2010 competition year.

If, until now, only Mercedes GP have proceeded to giving their drivers the chance to cross-test the 2010 car during the previous 3 tests of the winter, McLaren Mercedes seemed to have picked up on that and will do the same in Barcelona.

The preliminary scheduling of the testers for the session, due to kick off tomorrow morning, is the following (except for Red Bull, BMW Sauber, Force India and Virgin Racing, who are yet to confirm the testing order this week).
