Sounds counter-intuitive, but that’s exactly what Mazda UK wants you to do. After pre-ordering the all-new Mazda6 from one of the 140 dealers across the country, you stand a chance of winning the prize draw competition, there by getting your car for free.
Both saloon and tourer models apply, but you have to order yours before December 31st, 2012. The draw prize includes any factory-fitted options specified by the customer, delivery, 12 months road tax, licence plates, three-year warranty and breakdown cover, but excludes dealer-fitted accessories.
Prices for the new Mazda6 range from £19,595 to £28,045 on-the-road (OTR), with deliveries taking place from January 25th, 2013. On offer is a choice of high-efficiency SKYACTIV powertrains with six-speed automatic or manual transmissions. The 2.0-litre SKYACTIV-G petrol engines produce 145 PS and 165 PS, while the 2.2-litre SKYACTIV-D diesel engines generate 150 PS and 175 PS with 380Nm and 420Nm of torque (respectively) at 2,000rpm.
