If there’s any automaker that has managed to turn the various acronyms each company uses into a true alphabet soup, that’s Porsche. From the various technical developments to the infotainment, these Germans have an acronym for everything.
Just when we though we knew our PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) from our PSM (Porsche Stability Management), Porsche comes along and proves we are wrong. They have an army of driving instructors who are spread across the globe and one of these recently revealed the actual meaning of PSM.

Mr Pierre here lets us know PSM actually stands for “Please Save Me”. You don’t even have to take our word for this, you can check it out yourselves in the clip below.

Those who are unwilling to see Pierre throwing three important people around in a Macan Turbo on the ICAR track in Canada can skip straight to the 1:45 mark. You’ll still see the man hammering the Macan though.

Well, Porsche should invent a new acronym for such pieces of driving humor. Perhaps something it would be appropiate to have something like PTC (Pierre Takes the Cake). Oh, wait, PTC is already taken - this is used for Porsche Design’s timepieces, remember?
