Porsche Offers You the Chance to Drive a 911 GT2 RS

If you’re looking for the most extreme creation in Porsche’s stable, the 911 GT2 RS is the answer for you. We are talking about the fastest and most powerful road animal ever released by the carmaker. Only 500 units of the vehicles were released in September, with all of them being sold in a few weeks. So this should be the end of the story...

However, Porsche’s UK division is offering one lucky enthusiast the change to get behind the wheel of the 620 hp beast at the Porsche Experience Centre Silverstone as part of a competition that debuted online yesterday.

The company’s website now includes a special section for this competition, with the winner being selected at random from all correct entries (you’ll need to enter a Porsche trivia) submitted by midnight on January 31 2011.

The winner will be invited to the Porsche Experience Centre to take part in a Porsche Sport Driving Schoold. He or she will have the opportunity to drive multiple Porsche models. In addition to that, the winner will be initiated in the art of performance driving by the company’s chief driving consultant.

The Porsche Experience Centre, Silverstone is a unique facility offering a variety of bespoke driving courses on its 3.1km of specially designed tracks,” stated the press release.

The bespoke Porsche tracks simulate different driving environments and conditions and incorporate five areas: Handling, Kick plate, Ice Hill, Low-friction and Off-road.  Every visitor is accompanied by an expert Porsche Driving Consultant to ensure that their driving session is uniquely tailored to their requirements and so that the full technical capabilities of the car can be explored.
