Porsche Exclusive Turns 25

Each premium automotive producer has its own “creme de la creme” division that creates tailor-made vehicles, turning customers’ dreams into reality. Porsche, one company that knows a thing or two about giving birth to special vehicles is no exception to this rule, allowing customers to enjoy customized vehicle through the Porsche Exclusive arm. Today, the German special division is celebrating 25 years of existence.

Porsche Exclusive has a team of 100 specialists that cover all the operations from a custom vehicle’s development to its sale process. Based in Weissach, the division creates items like performance parts or top interior equipment, integrating them in the production process of a new vehicle.

Virtually any customer desire can be fulfilled by Porsche Exclusive following a personal dialogue. The sole prerequisite is technical and qualitative feasibility,” stated the press release.

Porsche also offers an extensive Exclusive catalog that demonstrates the division’s potential. The customers can take a look at this and then discuss further special requirement with the dedicated dealership personnel or the Exclusive customer advisors in the Zuffenhausen or Leipzig factories.

Porsche Exclusive’s latest creations are the 911 Sport Classic, which is limited to 250 units and the 911 Speedster, which will only allow 356 mortals to enjoy it.

With a new book on the Porsche Exclusive history, which will be available in the Porsche Museum shop from March 2011, a special Museum exhibition to run from March to May 2011 or a special Porsche Travel Club trip in June, for instance. Amongst other venues, Porsche Exclusive can be experienced live at the vintage vehicle grand prix at the Nurburgring in August 2011," stated the press release.
