The Porsche 911’s new incarnation has 400 horsepower at beast and costs just over €100,000. But what if the sky was the limit and you could do whatever you wanted with the iconic shape. Design students Vincenzo La Manti, Sébastien Baudemont and Thomas Pignol all dared to dream big while creating their 9P1 concept, which was first spotted by GermanCarScene.
It more of a beefed up 911 than anything else, but the design inspiration obviously comes from the Porsche 918 Spyder Concept from last year’s Geneva Motor Show. However, there are plenty of historic references from old Porsches, most notably from the 550.
Yet the concept is thoroughly modern, especially inside, where minimalist cues were used. The cockpit cocoons you like a fighter jet, but there are also plush leathers to enjoy.
