Porsche’s latest 918 RSR video explains us the complexity of building a concept car and how modern software, such as Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) makes this a bit easier. However, if you take a look at 2:00 you’ll notice (we must thank Jalopnik for this one) that just above the RS badge we have a little message.
It says “im CAD hat’s passt”, but how do we translate this? Well ,it seems that when the car was assembled, there were certain issues with tolerances, as not all the parts fitted together. Fingers started being pointed at engineers, who offered an excuse “im CAD hat’s passt!”, which, translated in English, means “It fits in CAD”.
