When we hear the "Porsche 911 Turbo" name, our minds are flooded with connections to Porsche's (road) history, racing and, of course, tuning. This piece of news is dedicated to the last, offering you an aftermarket incarnation of the supercar that has been redefined, both in terms of appearance and performance. This special 911 Turbo was brought to life by BD Motor.
As we are addicted to engine mods, this is what we'll start with. First of all, we have to remind you that the Porsche factory gifts the 911 Turbo with a twin-turbo (the turbines use variable geometry) 3.8 liter six-cylinder powerplant that delivers 500 hp.
This example of the car was gifted with a Promotive turbo upgrade, a Promotive ECU remap, a Cargraphic complete sport exhaust and a Fabspeed cold air intake. Unfortunately, the new output of the engine is not mentioned, but we can imagine that the modifications offer a pretty hefty power and toque increase.
The list of other tech goodies includes a sport clutch that can handle the extra muscles of the engine and a Bilstein suspension, which allows the driver to push the car further into the madness area through the corners.
BD Motor has also tweaked the vehicle's exterior, fitting it with a number of Techart items, including a front lip, side skirts, a rear spoiler, as well as a rear wing. The car now sits on 360Forged mesh 10 rims that come in a 20-inch size.
The interior of the car has also been taken care of. This offers a factory taracotta leather finish for a multitude of components and a Techart steering wheel, which is thicker than the standard one.
