One of the tuning world’s favorite children, the Porsche 911 Turbo, received another complete transformation kit, this time from the German tuner SpeedART.
The 997 Turbo 2010’s bi-turbo 3.8 engine received an additional 150HP and 150 Nm of torque, through the use of bigger turbos, new intercoolers, a sport exhaust system, a performance air filter and a new engine management software. The powerplant now develops 650 HP and 650 Nm - the torque can temporarily be increased to 699 Nm through the overboost function. The unit is mated to a PDK double clutch gearbox.
The SpeedART BTR II 650 EVO (this is the supercar’s new name) deals with the first hundred in 3.2 seconds and hits a top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h). To cope with all the power and torque, the vehicle has received an electronically-controlled adjustable suspension. This connects the car to the road via a set of Light Spoke Competition forged twin-spoke 20 inch wheels.
The tuned creation has been gifted with a complete body kit, consisting of a redesigned front bumper featuring a spoiler lip and “gun metal frames” that improve the brakes’ cooling, new side skirts, a rear diffuser and an adjustable rear spoiler. The latter can be painted in the car’s color or can come in a carbon finish.
The car’s passengers are treated with a set of highly customizable sport seats, leather/Alcantara finishes and carbon interior parts which are available in a wide range of colors. The drivers gets a sport steering wheel that features shift paddles for the PDK gearbox.
