Porsche 911 Crashes into Coffee Shop, Traps Two Customers

Any sunny Sunday morning should start with a proper, laid back coffee. Since there’s no wake up alarm to bother your precious sleep, it’s only natural you oversleep. When you do wake up, it’s close to noon. You slowly walk towards your favorite neighborhood shop, sit on the chair and enjoy that brown drink of the Gods. Everything is perfect when... Bang! A Porsche 911 crashes through the front glass window.

That’s pretty much how things came down the other Sunday in Gerrards Cross, a village and civil parish in the South Bucks district of Buckinghamshire, UK. The female driver holding the wheels of the silver sports car got off with mere injuries, but she did manage to trap a man and woman having their coffee inside. Firefighters eventually freed the two, who were both uninjured. However, it’s safe to say their date was most likely the worst ever.

According to the Mirror, a spokesman for Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said the driver of the Porsche 911 from the 996 generation had to be freed from the wreckage before being treated for minor injuries. One of the passers-by that came across the scene within minutes of the Porsche leaving the road and smashing into the small coffee shop said that the mess-up was quite scary.

People were gasping, it was horrendous. The Porsche had gone straight through the front, we couldn’t believe it. The car was facing upwards at an angle as if it had gone up a table or something, and there was a lady sitting on the sofa with a blanket round her,” the witness told the source.

Not that we’re saying the Porsche driver is bad at holding the steering wheel, but people should know they don’t call them sports cars for nothing.
