This just in from Poland: pedestrian hunting season open for police women! Our take is just a joke, as you probably already figured it out but if we’re to look at the video posted below alone, we’d have a tough time thinking that it was all just a ruse.
As it turns out, just two days ago, a Polish police woman had a moment of weakness and actually tried to run over the people she swore to protect. That’s right, the driver of the police car in the video is a woman that temporarily simply lost it.
The video clearly shows that after the light turned red, an elderly woman that was still on the crosswalk is not allowed to finish her crossing and the Kia Cee’d Sport Wagon rushes towards her, over two lanes. Not only did the driver purposely try to run the poor pedestrian over but it also got in the way of the Passat right next to it that was just minding its own business.
According to the person that posted the video online, the woman already had its license revoked and is currently facing a disciplinary inquiry. The thing is, we’re not sure if she’s fit to wear that uniform again.
The main problem is that the attempt on that person’s life is completely uncalled for and that could point to an underlying condition that no psychologist caught during screening. Or, at least we hope police officers in Poland are being tested regularly.
Stress could lead to such attacks and the people of Warsaw (where the footage was recorded) definitely don’t need this kind of silent killers on the streets.
All joke aside, we’re curious of how things will pan out in the end. For now, no additional info is available but we’ll keep you posted as soon as we learn more about what happened with the officer involved.
