Polaris has just unveiled their latest and seemingly greatest off-road racing beast, the RZR XP 900 H.O. Jagged X Edition. With an impressive racing heritage and results of the base XP 4 900 model Jagged X raced in the Best in the Desert Series, a special edition was somehow expected. However, nobody but Polaris and Jagged X seems to have expected such a beautiful beast.
The Polaris RZR XP 900 H.O. Jagged X Edition is built using an extended version of the XP4 frame and now offers extremely comfortable seating: not only is the 4-seater chassis longer than the original XP 4's, but it now accommodates only 2 seats. And they're premium PRP deep seats with 5-point harness ready design, built for demanding, extreme racers.
Walker-Evans suspensions and rims ensure a smooth, stable ride across the roughest of obstacles at any speed, while the electronic power steering makes keeping the Polaris RZR XP 900 H.O. Jagged X Edition on track much easier at both high and low-speed cruising.
The 875cc parallel-twin engine produces 94 hp and the automatic transmission with shaft final drive offers both precise power delivery and easy maintenance. Two watertight removable storage compartments can hold personal object, first aid kit water and so on, for increased convenience.
The MSRP is $21,999 (€16,645) and maybe a bit steep, but looking at the video and considering you're getting all the nifty racing specs Polaris has to offer and not a quad for grandma, it starts to make better sense.
