PewDiePie Makes Clickbait Ferrari Video to Make Fun of Shallow Youtubers

RESTECP to my buoy PewDiePie, as Ali G would put it. One Youtuber has had enough of his shallow co-workers and made fun of them in a video. The Ferrari photo is just clickbait, but after watching this four-minute episode, you won't be sad.

With 44 million YouTube followers, you can't pretend not to know about PewDiePie and the insanely popular game videos he makes. He really could afford to finance a Ferrari if he wanted to; and a Lamborghini; and a Porsche.

But instead of spending the cash on an overpriced symbol of masculinity, he showcased his crappy Nissan Micra. And we do mean crappy, as it's one missed service away from the junkyard.

Between the sunglasses, the crappy car that looks like the Renault 5, and the weird way he dresses, PewDiePie reminds everyone of Ali G. As for the way in which he presents his Nissan's "best features," we're inclined to compare it to the Buy My Volvo stuff.

Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg is only 26 years old right now, yet in 2013, The Wall Street Journal said he made $4 million per year. A few days later, PewDiePie took to Reddit and confirmed the figures were roughly correct.

For a guy that just sits around his home and makes videos with his friends, that might sound like a wild amount. But because Google earnings aren't what they used to be, it’s a wildly insubstantial figure for the size of his audience and influence.

Felix is one of the most down-to-earth people on YouTube, though, having moved to the British city of Brighton so he can live a normal life. "Anytime I'm there people are constantly patting you on the back, telling you how great you are. It f**ks with your brain. I started YouTube because I was bored, not to become famous," he said in an interview when asked why he didn't stay in Los Angeles.

That being said, we don't think you're a bad person if you want to make YouTube videos and buy a Ferrari. That makes you about as superficial as... everybody else, including us.
