The auto journalism world is filled with biased opinions, especially in Europe where rivalries tend to get national. Germans say German cars are better than French, and vice versa. However, the next review is about one French car being better than another French car, so you can't say it's biased.
Right up until 2012 or so, the Megane RS was the most powerful hot hatch and the fastest if you ignore the all-wheel drive ones. But suddenly a whole bunch of new models came out and the Megane was forever shamed.

The next clip, posted by Motorsport Magazine from France, shows the hottest Renault is actually slower than the Peugeot RCZ R. This is amazing because the Peugeot coupe is the only car in its class that uses a 1.6-liter turbo, not a 2-liter, but still delivers 270 PS.

Being more than 100 kg lighter and with 5 more hp on tap, the RCZ R is the superior car. But we hadn't seen this clip we would have never believed Peugeot's claims. The amazing things is, this is also the first clip of the 2014 model year facelift for the Megane RS that we've been able to find.
