Peoria Euphoria - Not What You Think it Is

When we first read/heard about Peoria Euphoria we honestly thought of some sort of new-fangled designer drug for the club scene. However, we couldn’t have been further from the truth, as Peoria Euphoria is, in fact, a documentary about the Peoria Motorcycle Club - a bike-riding, racing and restoring community with a history stretching back some 81 years.
Among their goals of collecting, restoring and riding vintage bikes, and do all sorts of interesting stuff on regular road bikes, they also love to thrash some motocross bikes around various locations all throughout the US - this is the Peoria TT. Now back to Peoria Euphoria.

It features flat-track rider Sammy Halbert, talking about his plan to improve his performance in the Peoria TT, despite the fact that it is not really a professional organization in the true sense of the word, and thus, any rider who is willing and has some cash to invest (not that much, really) could join, compete and have a lot of fun.

Amateur racing series like this are still the ‘bread and butter’ of both the automotive industry as well as the motorcycle industry - when these series will die out (we hope they don’t), we will have lost a huge part of what defines motoring enthusiasts.
