Orange is not necessarily a popular color choice when it comes to machines like the Porsche 911 GT2 RS. Of course, this means that when we do come across a Rennsport Neunelfer dressed in such a shade, it's time to jump for joy. And since the weekend is upon up, we've brought along a 2RS that comes in Pastel Orange.
This is the kind of Paint to Sample shade that makes the aero-aggressive styling cues of the Porscha stand out and yet the color itself is rather warm - lens tip to the PTSRS social media-based Porsche registry for bringing us an image gallery of the thing.

We're looking at what might be described as a standard car, since the Neunelfer doesn't sport the Weissach Package, nor does it come with the also-optional magnesium wheels. Instead, the car packs the "normal" rims, with these using a satin White Gold Metallic finish.

However, while we're talking optional extras, we have to mention the all-LED headlights and the banana-colored calipers, with the latter signaling the presence of PCCB (Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes) hardware.

What about the cabin of the rear-engined toy - is this colorful too?

Well, as far as Porschephiles are concerned, the answer to the question above might be positive, even though those outside the Zuffenhausen realm might think otherwise.

You see, despite the interior being dominated by dark Alcantara and leather, the cabin holds Lava Orange deviated sticking. For the record, Lava Orange was the launch color for the 991.1 incarnation of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. Fortunately, the delicious image gallery above also allows us to take a peek at the cabin of the German velocity tool.

Returning to the GT2 RS we have here, the machine has just been delivered to Grapevine, Texas, which means it will get to shine under the sun.
