As the bicycle culture is moving forward on its journey to conquer the way people in cities commute on a daily basis, new companies in the industry arise by the day. Pahoj brings the Ikea feeling to the ordinary bicycle equipped with a bike seat. The idea is simple, once you park the two-wheeler you simply detach your kid’s seat and turn into a stroller.
The idea is as simple as it is practical and will soon be on Kickstarter for you to back up, that is if you really are a parent who wants to commute by bike, of course. The concept belongs to Swedish designer Lycke von Schantz who believes that his invention encourages parents to bike more. It will also ease their efforts since they won’t need to carry extra luggage when they take their youngsters for a stroll.

Growing up in Lund, Sweden’s largest bike city, and living several years in Amsterdam, biking has always been the natural way of transportation for me. Why should becoming a parent put an end to that?” Lycke said, quoted by Design Milk. And don’t you worry about safety, since according to the source, Pahoj was safety tested at BRIO’s former test lab in Osby, Sweden.

Who is BRIO you ask? It’s a wooden toy company founded in Sweden, in the small town of Boalt, Scania in 1884 by basket-maker Ivar Bengtsson. After having its head quarters in Osby for a long time, the company moved its operations to Malmo, in 2006.

As to the bike accessory, since it’s still under development, we’re guessing you’re going to have to wait for it to hit the crowd funding site. There's where you'll probably find out how to get one, say you were interested in doing so.
